My tea cart with the TV on it? : D Thanks!
I like those too? I think they look neat! Theres going to be a couch next to that soon~ I’m excited 8 ) I have the whole thing laid out in my head, I just need to move, get a few pieces and set it all up!
Lack of common sense really annoys me. Lack of decency too. I hear and read people say things that just make me boggle, going “did…you really think saying that or asking that was a good idea?”
Usually it’s small things too, and I just…I just get annoyed by people not thinking thoughts through.
Nothing happened to inspire this post, I was just thinking about things that have frustrated me.
Me too, Kathy!!
It irks me greatly, even if people just say those kinds of things out of habit. Yes, people have “right to free speech” and can “say whatever they want” but.. there is always a time and a place. Having the right to do something doesn’t mean you should do it (all the time.) It also doesn’t mean its a good idea. Being sensitive to situations, people, and time in that respect is a great attribute to have and be aware of!
Recently my father did this and I called him out on it. He literally wrote me in a text that “Any situation with your mother and money makes a guy want to guard his wallet! :- )” … Out of context, rude, bad timing, a low blow, and just wrong. My father has very poor people/social skills, but thats still no excuse. : / If somebody is aware they do something like this.. they should correct it. Additionally, if somebody witnesses it do not ignore it, speak up or even ask them why they said it. (ex: a sexist or racist joke - ask them why or how its funny. Literally “I don’t get it” is the best thing to say.) It’s best to not get into fights but definitely communicate! Without communication nothing would happen in the world.
